On this day, 16 years ago, I dove off Langdale Dam in Valley, AL into the Chattahoochee River and broke my neck at C3/C4 level leaving me paralyzed from the shoulders down. This happened around 2:30p.m. EST time. For those of you who have become my friend since that day, I thank you for seeing me for me and saying "I want/need/would like to have" him as my friend. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have so many angels I call "friend"!!

I have Brittle Bones Disease and am proud to be who I am! I'll definitely be using this because the message in it is very true, us disabled people can still do all sorts of things!
My mom had a stroke roughly 4 years ago and is paralyzed on her left side. She's in a wheelchair now, but she's still a strong woman. Thank you so much for making this stamp.
